Immediate Employment:We are seeking a full-time Web Designer with the skill and imagination to help create top-caliber web sites that will revolutionize the design industry for the area. Candidates must have extensive practical experience in graphic design and typography, as well as overall web site design and production skills. Applicants must be fluent in CSS, HTML, Photoshop; experience with Flash, and Illustrator, Flex, and ColdFusion, rich media experience in video/audio podcasting, video streaming, and video/animation integration a plus. - Designing solutions that meet or exceed project goals
- Creating or developing interactive design concepts
- Designing: interactive page layouts; site grids and interface demos; photo retouching and enhancements
- Building and maintaining a team rapport with creative team personnel, account managers, & project managers
Job Requirements:
- Strong design portfolio with design and interactive work experience
- Developed and diverse communication skills
- Ability to articulate creative ideas
- Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking with acute attention to detail within demanding deadlines
- A solid working knowledge of the latest versions of Photoshop and Illustrator
- Expert knowledge of HTML / CSS.
- Comprehensive understanding of interactivity and the Web
- Passion for design and eagerness to collaborate with other creative people
- Solid footing on the line between creative expression and commercial reality
- Self motivated, organized and accountable
Preferably a strong portfolio with the following: illustration in both electronic and traditional media, Flash and/or After Effects animation.
