Lincoln Mayfield Howard has arrived!!
He was born at 3:36 pm on Friday, January 4, 2008. He was 7 lbs and 11oz and 22 1/2 inches long.
I tried to read him my favorite kids book “The Monster at the End of this Book.”
He was obviously scared of the monster.
I am so happy he is home and healthy.
He is one beautiful baby and I’m pretty sure he validates.
I am out of town until Thursday Nov 15 at Myrtle Beach, then will be out of town the following week in Chicago.
So I probably wont post again until the 26th.
Last night, my boss Ryan joined in my weekly Soccer game and am pleased to announce showed great natural ability.
While most of us play a tentative defense, he went at it with reckless abandonment, perfect for a good defender.
Next week, Adam, the other boss will possibly be joining in.
Here at ARC we aren’t just about design, we are also about staying healthy through good excercise.
This is also the reason we go up and down the stairs to move our cars every 2 hours.
On a side note, the Gas house aka Festival Park Place burned the other day. Unfortunately, a local free daily newspaper, Smart News, was working out of offices in that building. So ARC is lending some of our office space to them so they can get back on their feet.

I played soccer for the last two weeks and was in a great deal of pain.
I am pleased to announce that after last night’s game I have minimal new pain and may be getting used to the continual exercise.
Now if I get into shape, my new arrival in January wont run me ragged before im 35!

When the hoopla started about 1-18-2008.com after The Transformers trailer, I had a great idea.
In January 2008, I am expecting my first child. I decided to make a flash movie trailer to announce the arrival to family and friends. I then registered http://www.jan182008.com and pointed it to my domain where I was hosting the trailer.
One day I decided to see how it was going with my site and Googled it. I found my site on different forums with people discussing it being cryptic, possibly related to Cloverfield and perhaps a movie Muse is writing a soundtrack for. Unfortunately none of this is true. It is really only a personal web page.
